The Relais overlooks a 3,000 m2 tree and flower-filled park, perfect for strolling and getting together with a friend or family. In the hotel, the Morvan oak-tree is omnipresent, combined with the terracotta tiles and beautiful Burgundy stone, making the Relais a charming place and evoking the proximity of nature for total re-energization. Lounges, like the beautiful library, equipped with chimneys, are warm and pleasant. Each guest feels at home and can enjoy the services of a 5-star establishment. An emblematic element of the premises, the large oak staircase, entirely doweled in a traditional way, leads to every floor while overlooking the garden.

Rooms & Suites
The spacious rooms and suites with warm colors and exposed beams are equipped with antique furniture, chimneys and all modern amenities. Gastronomy
The Relais restaurant is made up of two lounges and three dining rooms, adorned with beautiful Burgundy stones. The rooms’ large patio doors provide a panoramic view of the garden and makes you feel like you are in the middle of the countryside. It is everything you need to experience an exceptional gastronomic meal.
In the garden, a large patio allows guests to have drinks or a coffee under the sun or in the shade of a tree. In summer, it is also possible to have a simple lunch on the pool patio.
The Relais Bernard Loiseau restaurant has one of the most beautiful wine cellars in Burgundy (15,000 bottles, namely 900 well-known names), led by Executive Chef-Sommelier, Eric Goettelmann.
The trendy enoteca offers the most popular Grands Crus of Burgundy by the glass.

The cuisine of Patrick Bertron, the current chef at the Relais Bernard Loiseau is the meeting of two worlds, the land and the sea. Marine and untamed nature of the Breton coast, land-based and secret power of the Morvan forests.
The whole existence of Patrick Bertron lies between these two horizons. His cuisine recounts his mixed love for native sea and adoption terroir. The grand classics of Bernard Loiseau also feature on the menu.

Garden
Created in 1991 under the initiative of Dominique Loiseau, the English garden gathers the beauty and charm of the Relais over an area of 3,000 m2, embellished with alleys, patios and fountains. It is a true haven of peace for the hotel guests. Small spaces hidden from the public view invite guests to relax or to engage in conversation. In both summer and winter, the plants offer a contrasting show of colors and fragrances.

Well-Being
At the heart of the 10,000 m2 estate, the hotel’s landscaped pool is the first authentic area that invites guests to relax. Heated and away from the public view, it has been designed in the shape of an arena in order to always have good sun exposure. It is surrounded by two beaches and a nice aged-oak pergola where guests can enjoy a refreshment. A peaceful spot to re-energize away from all that bustle!
The lap pool, with celadon-colored water, is equipped with massage jets and a counter-current swimming system. Take a «relaxation» break in the vaulted hammam with molten glass and terracotta tiles, or in the cedarwood sauna.
The gym is set up in Alexandre Dumaine’s authentic cellar in which the decor has been completely preserved.

Villa Loiseau des Sens
With the Villa Loiseau des Sens, the Relais Bernard Loiseau is now equipped with one of the finest spas in Europe. The Villa also houses the group’s latest restaurant, Loiseau des Sens, providing diners with original cuisine based around “health and pleasure”. With 1,500 m2 dedicated to wellness, the Villa Loiseau des Sens stands proudly at the heart of the Auxois-Morvan region.
