Relais de Chambord 4*

Chambord, France

Hotel's website
The Château de Chambord, in the heart of the largest enclosed forest park in Europe, is the biggest castle in the Loire Valley and the second in Fran- ce after Versailles. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is also one of the most famous in the world for his 8 towers with French renaissance architecture, with the pilasters to frame castle windows and medallions to adorn the façades. Its double revolution staircase attributed to Leonardo Da Vinci is its great unexpected treasure adding architectural genius to the iconic beauty of the castle.

The Relais de Chambord is the building of the former kennel overlooking the Château de Chambord. The former hotel has been transformed into a contemporary luxury hotel by the renown French architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte. Inside, all is calm and sensuous.

THE HOTEL
The boutique hotel has 55 Rooms and Junior Suites with views over the forest, the river or directly facing the Château. The interiors are modern, mixing rustic elements with wall coverings reflecting the scenery outside. The rooms have TV with international channels, safe, minibar and WIFI.
In the lobby there is a roaring fire and beautifully dressed staff stand in front of bookshelves, ready to point out quiet and minimalist corridors.
The Relais de Chambord has a Wellness Area with Sauna, Hammam, Outdoor Jacuzzi and two massage rooms. It also offers a Projection and Game Room, a Pool Room and three equipped meeting rooms, one is modular. The hotel has bicycles available and a tennis court, and guests can enjoy cooking classes, boat trips or horse and carriage riding.
