The chalet, entirely renovated in 2017 in a warm and chic style takes its name from Edward Whymper, a famous mountaineer and British illustrator from the 19th century. He is mostly known for the first ascent of the Matterhorn peak and for his contribution to the development of mountaineering in the Chamonix valley.

Come and read the tales of his exploits, comfortably nestled in the lounge. The chalet’s interior takes inspiration from this pioneering character who achieved mythical acclaim; the presence of crystals and replicas of his engravings will plunge you deep into the mood of his adventures.

The Whymper offers you 10 rooms fully equipped for your utmost comfort. Each room features a welcoming décor inspired by Scandinavian design that creates an atmosphere of calm, relaxation and leisure. Soft colors, carpet, wood, Rubelli wallpaper; you will feel completely at home.

A continental breakfast is served in a buffet format from 7:30am until 10:00: you will be provided with a wide range of dishes using fresh, local ingredients so everyone can start their day according to their own tastes and preferences. There are even homemade yogurts!
In the afternoon, from 16:00 onwards, you can enjoy some homemade cake served in the lounge.

You are welcome in the SPA every day from 16:00 to 21:00. Enter this cocoon dedicated to wellness with a sauna and treatment room, as well as a jacuzzi on the terrace with a view of the mountains: let go, you will feel marvellous!
