Located just a few strides from the Avenue des Champs-Élysées, the four star Hotel Château Frontenac is a prestigious and elegant Parisian hotel. Acquired in 1978 by Philippe Thomas and then taken over by his sons, Hôtel Château Frontenac used to be home to the famous cabaret Le Gerny's where Édith Gassion, “Môme Piaf" started her career before she became the legendary Edith Piaf.

Over the years the hotel has reinvented itself while retaining its original character of period decor and stained glass, both elegant and spectacular, reminiscent of the Roaring Twenties. Once through the front door you will be struck by the spacious ambience illuminated by light from the sky flooding the reception area, inviting you to look around and feast your eyes on the marvellous Art Deco glass cupola which was uncovered during the renovation of the hotel.

Hôtel Château Frontenac, which offers our guests a close and warm welcome in our 104 rooms and suites, is also the ideal launchpad for seeing the sights or fashion shopping. Cultural Paris is on the doorstep of the hotel and many of the most prestigious sights can be reached on foot. As for the Paris of fashion, it surrounds the hotel with many famous brands which built the legend of French haute couture located nearby. The hotel renovation was the brainchild of Laurent Moreau, an expert in hotel architecture since 1983. His work pays as much attention to practical aspects as to the aesthetics of the hotel, changing with the times. The hotel is now a space for living, which in addition to its rooms provides places to meet and for leisure where Laurent Moreau has given full expression to his creativity, working with colour and light like a virtuoso to bring the building alive. The results? An intimate and warm ambience where the eye lingers over original pieces of art which add depth of character to the hotel.

Hôtel Château Frontenac has 104 rooms. Recently renovated and fully soundproofed, the rooms provide a peaceful atmosphere in an area of Paris which never sleeps, just a stone’s throw from the most beautiful avenue in the world, the Avenue des Champs Elysées. With 5 main categories – Classic, Superior, Junior Suite and Suite – the rooms are spacious with high ceilings. Their generous size is highlighted by the completely modern elegant bed headboards of spectacular size reaching up to the ceiling.
The walls of all rooms are draped with fabric. There is a desk and a sitting room area with an armchair and coffee table to relax in comfort or enjoy a delicious meal sent up by room service. Suites have a full sitting room with armchairs and a sofa. There are three shades of decoration depending on the room, making the most of contrast.
Here, blue grey is lightened by delicate touches of bright orange; elsewhere green anise goes with an elegant bronze; while in other rooms the fabrics and aubergine colours offset the details of a lively cherry red.

The spacious Bar "Le 47" is reached from reception through a majestic wrought iron door at the top of a flight of stairs. The ambience between contemporary lounge and Art Deco is an invitation, depending on the time of day, to come and relax with a hot drink and some delicious pastries at tea time or enjoy a sophisticated elegant cocktail in the evening, carefully prepared by bartender. The 47 is the ideal place where you can take a moment to relax, hold a business meeting or share a romantic interlude until late in the evening.

Breakfast is served in a vast and luxurious room. The Brunch Buffet offers a wide choice of fresh and organic produce, hot or cold: pastries, bread from our partner bakers, cereals, fruit, jam, honey, yoghurt, cheese, cooked meat, eggs of all types, fruit juice, Nespresso or filter coffee, tea, hot chocolate, milk.
For guests who want to extend the pleasure of the evening and enjoy the comfort of their bed and the cosy atmosphere of their room, continental breakfast can be served in your room including any hot or cooked produce for no extra charge.
