On the street of the Grande Chaumière, between Saint-Germain-des-Prés and Montparnasse, a 20 room hotel brings back to life the house-workshops of the Paris of the Belle Epoque. At the same time a gallery, an exhibition space and an artist's studio, it welcomes travelers curious to learn about fine arts and students from the Académie located on the opposite side of the street.

THE BEDROOMS
The bedrooms are designed as your own art studio. Lime walls, raw wood: the atmosphere is deliberately simple. For half of them, the ceilings are decorated with frescos. You can dream there, lying on the bed, your eye following each drawing line. From the top floor, where Modigliani had his studio, you can see Paris rooftops and the glass windows of the legendary Academy of Arts. The bathrooms are equipped with showers or bathtubs and recall the Parisian buildings of "Les années folles".

THE CAFÉ ATELIER
The café atelier is a place of conviviality and exchange. Travelers cross paths with Academy of Arts students from across the street and with artists exhibiting in the hotel. Everyone can settle down after having written down their consumption in the honesty bar's notebook, all the while browsing through a book in the library. For breakfast, a large Carrara marble table gathers guests around a continental buffet. At the back of the lounge, a workshop with painting equipment has been set up for hotel guests. They come here to draw with students from the Academy of Arts. Applied arts courses are available.

WELLNESS
To help you relax, the Hotel des Académies et des Arts has set up a wellness room in the basement. In partnership with the famous Le Tigre Yoga club, the hotel offers massages and treatments, but also provide our guests with fitness equipment. Yoga classes are also held.
Experienced professionals accompany you for a relaxation session after a long day in the capital.
