The Relais Christine is a 17th-century residence built on the ruins of the Austin Friars monastery, founded in 1231 by Saint Louis.
What is today the Musée de Cluny was the first "hôtel particulier" to stand, like the Relais Christine, between garden and courtyard.
The hotel was shaped by its owners, a French family, before it opened to the public in 1979. A large, flowered courtyard buffers the hotel from any noise and some rooms overlook the private sheltered garden at the back.
The Relais Christine offers a warm atmosphere of intimacy and conviviality that one would expect to find in a cottage rather than in a 5-star hotel. Its homey historic décor and a genuinely caring service created this unique vibe that made its reputation and ensures its rank among Paris’ most sought-after properties.
In 2014, after constant & regular enhancements, the owners initiated a project and gave the designer Laura Gonzalez the mission to imagine the Relais Christine for the years to come. The property has been fully redone recently.
A spacious new lounge provides various spaces including a honor bar, intimated spaces to sip a cocktail, have breakfast or even work.
Under the 13th century natural stone, the spa offers exclusive treatments, Jacuzzi, sauna and an extensive fitness room.
Extra services : free valet parking, free use of hotel bicycles, Convertible Fiat 500S available for rental.
