It was at the beginning of the 18th century that a hermit named Gaultier and his disciples founded a priory, it later became an Abbey where the famous privateer Robert Surcouf of Saint-Malo enjoyed hunting parties.

Saint-Malo Golf Resort was born in 1986, under the design of the architect Hubert Chesneau, who superbly combined granite, trees and nature with a diverse and sporty design over an estate of 100 hectares.

The Saint-Malo Golf Resort was inaugurated in 2003 around the Club House by respecting the architecture of the former priory, with wooden beams and stonework, in order to preserve the “manor” style of the 19th century.
