The Château was originally a wedding gift given to Officer Henry Brisson de La Messardière and his wife, artist Louise Dupuy D’Angeac, before becoming a hotel in 1904. It was very popular with the Parisian Aristocracy looking for a French Riviera base during the Roaring Twenties.
