Born in 1931 out of the vision of Augustine and Marcelin Aubour, the Hôtel de Paris Saint-Tropez was coveted by artists and celebrities from its earliest days. Later on, it won the hearts of the Dray family, who pampered the hotel with a complete transformation in 2013. Like the village’s famous citadel, it is a genuine landmark, illuminating the entrance to Saint-Tropez.

A mythical bouillabaisse recipe, legendary film shoots, heart-stopping boxing matches, magnificent art shows and now a literary prize… More than just a simple hotel, the Hôtel de Paris Saint-Tropez has written an entire chapter of the village’s history.

The hotel was a favourite haunt for Fifties movie stars and artists. Clarke Gable, Rita Hayworth and Brigitte Bardot rubbed shoulders here with Jean Cocteau, Edith Piaf and Roger Vadim.
