This fine eighteenth-century hotel is situated a stone's throw away from the city of Saumur and is mirrored in the waters of the Loire, the "River of Kings". Listed façade, sumptuous staircase crowned by a trompe-l'œil ceiling – all the prestigious hallmarks of the past have been preserved and enhanced. The refurbishment of the whole hotel enabled the development of 42 comfortable rooms. In the two dining rooms, one of which is a little more intimate, adorned by the original beams, local produce takes pride of place alongside an excellent selection of wines from the Loire Valley.
