A château on the banks of the Loire had fallen into oblivion. A jewel dating back to the end of the 19th century, the property of Madame Tonnelle, General Becker’s wife. This serene residence found a new vocation in the 20th century with its conversion into a retirement home. That was until its most recent transformation into a luxury Touraine hotel skilfully combining the most classical architecture with the most contemporary shapes and colours. Design art and Black & White art adorn the walls of the hundred-year-old Chateau and its pavilions. A lounge bar and reception rooms likewise convey the feeling of pomp and an authentically period lifestyle.
