LOCATION
At the foot of the impressive Sella massif, at 1.600 meters above sea level, lies Arabba, the most important center of the Fodom valley, located within the Sella Ronda circuit, and inserted into the Dolomiti Superski, one of the most renowned ski areas in the world. Known to fans of winter sports for its strategic position on the ski slopes, Rèba, the Ladin name of the town, is also an enchanting place even for those who love the mountains in summer thanks to the many paths starting from the town and reaching the surrounding peaks.
The chalet is located in an exclusive position, at 1700 meters high, which guarantees maximum protection for guests, the closest buildings are located in the town of Arabba 700 meters away. Access is only possible from a private gravel road, which can be traveled by car; in winter it is possible to use the private quad.
Arabba is equipped for walking, biking and skiing for sports enthusiasts of all levels and in all seasons.

INNER SPACES
Cesa del louf, approximately 800 sqm, can comfortably accommodate 10 people in 5 suites with the possibility of adding an additional 9 beds (no bunk beds) accommodated in the rooms and in the annexed mezzanines.
There is also a studio apartment for the staff and a professional kitchen.
The attention given to local and antique materials during the renovation will give you the opportunity to live the experience of staying in an old alpine hutte combining modern design and high rank comforts: 4 fireplaces, cinema room, wellness area with: swimming pool with counter-current swimming machine, hydromassage pool, sauna, Turkish bath and relax area.
The swimming pool is equipped with a professional counter current device from Endless Pool USA, which can move up to 19 cubic meters of water per minute!
The bedrooms and the living room have been furnished with antiques. All the locks on the internal doors are ancient, original and functional with its own key, each one is described in the book by Giovanni Lanaro: guests can search the aforementioned book for the description and history, for example, of the lock of their own room.
A permanent local art exhibition has been created inside, obviously reserved for guests only: the works of the Unika artists, an association of sculptors and painters from Val Gardena and the painter Raimond Mussner are on display.
The buildings are classified in energy class A1 so the heating costs (underfloor) and the related fuel consumption are very low. Being the property facing south, the large windows with special glasses heat up a lot (greenhouse effect). There are also 4 energy efficient wood stoves. There are internal air recirculation systems with filtration, fan coils in two rooms, home automation system (remote control: heating, hot water, alarm with webcam, swimming pool, whirlpool ...) electricity generator, photovoltaic system on the roof, Wifi in all rooms in the chalet and in the surrounding area.
The property includes 20,000 sqm of pasture and 4,000 sqm of woodland where you can spot local wildlife: foxes, roe deer, deer, hares and marmots.

Starting from 2022 the guests can also rent a little hut near the chalet (capacity until 12 guest in 6 suite + 11 additional beds).

• SKI TOURS
From the chalet you can reach, through a "off-piste" track (for expert skiers), or in a few minutes with the snowcat or with the quad (on exclusive use of guests), the slopes of the Sellaronda and the ski tour of the Great War.
It is also possible to reach the 3 World Cup slopes on skis (of the 22 total slopes in the world): Gran Risa, Saslong and Olimpia delle Tofane.
Thanks to the Dolomiti Superski pass you can ski in the Dolomiti Superski area which has 12 ski areas and 1,200 km of tracks.
The highest peak of the Dolomites is the Marmolada which can be reached from Arabba on skis in about half an hour.
There are also snowshoes and sledges at the chalet ... the sledges can be used with the private ski lift located in the property's park which becomes a large ski slope with fresh snow or beaten snow with the snowcat or a run night (the only one in the surrounding valleys!) or track in the woods.
It is possible to do a track with slalom poles and time the downhill times!

Arabba is the ideal destination for those who want to fully enjoy their passion for racing bikes and mountain bikes.

• TREKKING
Arabba, surrounded by gentle pastures and plateaus, is characterized by grandiose rocky walls and picturesque Alpine countries. Thanks to its central location in the heart of the Dolomites, Arabba is the ideal starting point for many excursions throughout the year.
Marmolada can be reached by skiing in 30 minutes or by walking in 2,5 hours from Arabba cableway - PortaVescovo. (during the summer period) Marmolada can be reached on skis in about half an hour (during the winter period).
• HELICOPTER FLIGHTS
You can use the private heliport in front of the chalet: by helicopter you can quickly reach Venice (45 minutes), Lake Garda (55 minutes), Cortina D'ampezzo (10 minutes).
• TENNIS

On the road to Corvara, 10 minutes by car from the Chalet, there is a very nice Golf Club in a fantastic scenery (during the summer period).
