Cervinia-Zermatt Ski Area is one of the highest ski resorts in the Alps located in Italy at the foot of the Cervino/Matterhorn. It’s very easy to arrive from Milano, 2 hours from Malpensa airport, and 1h30’ from Torino airport. The Relais & Châteaux Hermitage Restaurant & Spa is placed at 2050 m at the foot of Cervino-Matterhorn, with a large “domaine skiable” beyond compare: 350 km of slopes between Cervinia - Italy and Zermatt, in Switzerland.

This altitude allows to have a very long winter season: slopes are open from the beginning of November to the beginning of May with very good snow conditions. The Hermitage is a mountain chalet which offers warm and wooden interiors, owned by the Neyroz’ family since its opening. The restaurant La Chandelle is an unmistakable part that characterizes a stay at the Hermitage, with plates of high perfection, expression of the tradition of the Aosta Valley. A particular accent on locally sourced ingredients and raw materials, as well as characteristic regional dishes with a deliciously international touch. The wine list provides an assortment of some of the most precious wines, in total more than 900 different labels.

The New SPA offers the most traditional treatments signed by Bellefontaine combined with the latest face and body ones. Thermarium is composed by a steam bath, sauna and Ice-fountain.

The Hotel is open for the summer in July and August - with a 18 holes Golf course and an astonishing summer ski, trekking, free climbing - while for the winter the hotel opens in mid-November to the end of April.
