The original structure was built in 1931 by the Northern Electricity Companies, as a holiday camp for the children of employees.

The Tombolo Talasso Resort has 113 rooms that overlook the park in the Mediterranean, the pool or on the coast. The rooms are divided into several categories: Classic, the larger Superior and with the addition of a living room couch or bed, the Junior Suite where the bedroom and living room are separated and in some cases have a third bed, and finally the suites consisting of two bedrooms, two bathrooms (one of which is toilette), a large living room and a covered terrace. All rooms are equipped with in-room minibar, flat-screen TV with SKY channels, telephone, hairdryer, bathroom with shower or bathtub, Spa kit with bathrobe and slippers, complimentary toiletries in the bathroom.

At only a short distance from the Resort garden, over the green tops of the dunes, the ample sandy seaside beach stretches for 200 metres.
Hidden among the pines, the outdoor swimming pool is a small seawater lagoon surrounded by a splendid garden, in a privileged position that guarantees guests intimacy and privacy.
