ROOMS & SUITES
In 2023 the refurbishment of 32 bedrooms (in addition to 7 Suites which were already renovated in 2021) has been completed at the Hotel de Russie.
The renovation involved a mix of categories, ranging from Classic Room to Nijinsky Suite and it has, as always, been supervised by Olga Polizzi, the Director of Design. The newly refurbished rooms and suites play off the heritage and vibrancy of Rome, with classically-inspired artworks and wallpaper contrasted with contemporary furnishings, including distinctive Italian lamps and armchairs. Filled with a rich and serene colour palette, each room and suite is an ode to the beauty surrounding it.
The Nijinsky Suite has been designed in the style of a grand Roman house and features original statues at the entrance, intense red colours on the walls typical of Roman homes, a collection of plates and 19th-century art objects in the ornate Valadier style. The wallpaper featuring a classic Italian garden, the marbles and the cabochon terracotta flooring are all quintessentially Roman. The selected furnishings are an eclectic mix of vintage Italian design and custom pieces, all found in Italy and closely linked to both Roman culture and the period of the building. Materials, textures and shapes all have a strong connection to Italian design and local craftsmanship.

The restaurant Le Jardin de Russie was decorated entirely by hand by the Italian artist Gio Bressana.
