Back in 1957 some university students came from Frankfurt to do research in Sardinia. Hotel La Licciola 5*
Built in 2013, the Hotel La Licciola is a dispersed hotel laid out in the surrounding greenery and made up of comfortable rooms and high-class suites. The dominant note is the contemporary design of stone, wood, ceramics and furnishing accessories created by Sardinian craftsmen and women. A decorator, has carefully chosen everything you will find in the various living spaces, from the hand-woven Aggius fabrics to the Orosei marble used to decorate the bathrooms and from the wooden furniture to the Etruscan terracotta of the decorative tiles. The interiors of the rooms and suites are embellished with Castelsardo rush baskets, adding a touch of Gallura personality.

FOR CHILDREN
Ericaland is the jewel in the crown of the Resort Valle dell’Erica with safe spaces outside and inside and qualified staff to look after your children and leave parents free to enjoy the holiday in complete relaxation.
This special area dedicated to families and fun for children includes playgrounds and a mini-adventure park, cinema, Soft space, Nap room and creative spaces. For families with very young children there is also a free nursery with bottle feeding preparation area.
Among the free time activities there are workshops for making jewellery and souvenirs from things found in nature, a five-a-side football pitch, mini-hockey on grass, volleyball, golf, swimming and water-polo lessons. There is also a swimming pool dedicated entirely to children complete with water games and separate from the adult pool.
After dinner there are entertainments and little shows for children leaving parents free to enjoy the evening.

SEA & POOLS
The Resort Valle dell’Erica and its green spaces look out over 1,400 m of coastline where romantic coves, some of which are equipped with sunbeds and parasols, share the space with the large public Licciola beach. A crescent of white sand, easy to reach on foot from the rooms, disappears into transparent emerald green waters and looks out over the uninhabited island of Spargi. Reserved for guests, there is a large area equipped with showers, toilets and changing rooms as well as a beach bar to enjoy a cool drink between one swim and another. Parasols and sunbeds are free of charge and there is a lifeguard service.
The unspoilt islands of the La Maddalena Archipelago are right there in front and just ten minutes sailing away: Budelli with its world-famous Spiaggia Rosa or Pink Beach, Spargi, Santa Maria, until the gaze rests upon the Corsican Archipelago, reachable in thirty minutes with the marvellous islands of Lavezzi and Cavallo. Every day there is a wide choice of excursions leaving directly from the resort.

For an invigorating swim there are also four seawater swimming pools in front of the Archipelago: one directly by the sea, one with three large pools linked by waterfalls cascading down natural rocks and with a Swimming Bar and one for children with different depths in a separate section. Finally there is a fresh water pool, reserved for guests in the “Exclusive” area of the Hotel La Licciola.
