The Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte, an historic and prestigious 5-star hotel on Viareggio’s seafront, is a member of the Leading Hotels of the World, brand which count many of the world’s most prestigious hotels as their members. Built in the early 1920s the hotel underwent a two-year restoration which brought it back to its former splendour.

The 106 rooms, of which 87 are standard and 19 are suites, are on five floors, each one of which has a different style of decor. The rooms, which have views over the Apuan Alps and the Tyrrhenian Sea, are beautifully appointed and have broadband Internet, plasma satellite TVs, a choice of pillows and beautiful marble bathrooms with showers and/or bath tubs.

The “Piccolo Principe” and "Regina" restaurants have without doubt made the Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte Viareggio famous in its time. The intimate and welcoming, refined and luxurious dining rooms, from which a splendid panorama of the Apuane Alps and the Viareggio shoreline can be admired, attract tourists and fine food enthusiasts all year round for the quality of the expertly revisited Tuscan and Versilian cuisine offered and the carefully selected wine list.
The ‘Piccolo Principe’ restaurant, 2 Michelin Stars, offers an exquisitely refined cuisine that is enriched and set off by a well-stocked wine list that can be appreciated either inside the elegant and exclusive restaurant room or outside on the bright roof garden and by the pool. Piccolo Principe is open to hotel residents and non-residents alike. The restaurant is open from May to October, for dinner only.
The traditional cuisine served in the Regina Restaurant is accompanied by a selection of fine wines to be enjoyed in the elegant and exclusive ground-floor room or in the Veranda overlooking the promenade on sea.

Looking towards the blue horizon is the magnificent fifth-floor pool, with hydromassage and water features, heated to 34°c to afford you the pleasure of complete relaxation throughout the year.
Guests can have lunch by the poolside, on the beautiful terrace and in the adjacent panoramic restaurant bar, as well as savour delicious snacks or aperitifs whilst enjoying the enchanting view that fuses land with sea.

At a few steps from the hotel, on the famous promenade of Viareggio, there is the beach club partner of the hotel, eager to welcome guests with its umbrellas, sun beds, deck chairs, bar, restaurant and swimming pool with sea water and Jacuzzi.
