Classed as one of the best hotels in Europe, it is made up of two buildings connected via the so-called La Rotonde, built in 1908. Between 2012 and 2014, the renowned interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon oversaw the renovation of all the rooms. He chose many pastel colours and introduced mirror effects so as to bring the calming atmosphere of the lake right into the heart of the 5-star hotel.
Ideally situated on the banks of Lake Geneva, Beau-Rivage Palace is nestled in a natural beauty spot just a stone’s throw away from the centre of Lausanne. Like the neighbouring International Olympic Committee, the palace is an institution in the Ouchy district.

• CAFÉ BEAU-RIVAGE
Café Beau-Rivage is a veritable institution in Lausanne-Ouchy – for the past 30 years it has brought together holiday makers, business people in search of a little peace and quiet, regular guests and families. As soon as the first warm days of the year have arrived, the terrace with its trees and view of Lake Geneva is the place to be. But the charming interior is also delightful and wows everyone who loves elegant brasseries and quality service.
The menu at the Café Beau-Rivage varies according to the season, whilst offering its specials such as steak tartare or perch fillets meunière year round.

The Japanese restaurant at Beau-Rivage Palace offers nothing but the very best food from the land of the rising sun. The dishes are light but savoury, made with the freshest ingredients. Sushi and sashimi are prepared to order. In keeping with all the known benefits of Japanese cuisine, Miyako Lausanne offers a healthy menu with detox effects.

Situated near the hotel entrance, the bar has one of the most beautiful terraces in Lausanne and welcomes non-resident guests for breakfast from 8.00 a.m. A menu offers light dishes all day long.
