Opening
The Lenkerhof was built as a spa hotel almost 350 years ago (in 1689), below the hotel’s own hot spring. This makes it one of the oldest guesthouses in Switzerland. The most juvenile 5-star superior hotel in Switzerland has existed in its present form since 2002.

Location
The Lenkerhof is located in the Simmental valley in the Bernese Oberland. Situated amid untouched nature at the foot of the Wildstrubel massif, the hotel is a holiday paradise par excellence for nature lovers, families, sports fans and active people. Lenk can be reached by plane via Bern, by train via Spiez and directly by car.

Restaurants and Bars
Hotel culinary delights are as excellent as they are surprising. German chef Andreas Haseloh creates delicacies with only the best regional and international ingredients, creativity, and a dash of surprise. Enjoy light dishes from all around the world, several courses and a relaxing atmosphere. This is what the "Spettacolo" is about. The “Oh de vie” is a Mediterranean-style restaurant. Hotel guests can choose where they want to round off their day. All guests can put together their very own menu choosing from dishes freshly prepared every day – four courses are included in half-board.

The original restaurant in the mountains with “Lenk’s most beautiful sun terrace” serves authentic Swiss dishes with a modern touch in a stylish, modern and chic atmosphere. A large children’s playground provides entertainment for the kids. Events and celebrations can be held for up to 130 people. Breathtaking views of the Wildstrubel, Wildhorn and Plaine Morte Mountains.

Spa facilities and Sports
Seven Sources – the secret of wellbeing in Lenk. Until a century ago, today’s gourmet spa resort used to be a health resort – particularly well-known for its therapeutic sulphur springs. The sulphur grotto remains one of seven options available for sauna fans. Two thousand square meters of exciting, modern architecture: this makes the “7 sources beauty & spa” one of the largest spa facilities in Switzerland with an outdoor sulphur spring, a sports pool, a bio sauna including light therapy, a herbal sauna, a mineral oil sauna, a Finnish sauna, a sulphur grotto, a ladies’ sauna and steam bath, an ice grotto, a relaxation area, a workout and fitness park as well as a room for aerobics. There is also a diverse programme with different activities organised every day.
