Hotel St. Gotthard is a privately-owned hotel in the heart of Zurich’s famous Bahnhofstrasse shopping area and just a few steps from the city’s main railway station. The historic old town and beautiful quayside Bellevueplatz (“Bellevue Square”) are also within easy walking distance. Zurich Airport is only a few minutes away by car.
Due to its central location near the Zurich main station and near the famous "Paradeplatz", the Hotel St. Gotthard is easily accessible from all directions.

During the Second World War, America’s General Eisenhower and Great Britain’s Field Marshal Montgomery chose the Hotel St. Gotthard as the venue for their talks in 1942. It’s been a popular meeting place ever since! Other eminent guests over the years have included Switzerland’s most famous soldier Henri Guisan, Henry Kissinger, the Dalai Lama, Maria Callas, Arnold Schwarzenegger and various Swiss Federal Assemblies.

Rooms & Suites
The guests can choose between 12sqm and 85sqm rooms, depending on their preferences. For guests who want to enjoy their stay to the fullest, can choose a room from the Top View category. All Top View rooms offer an exclusive view onto the famous Bahnhofstrasse. Six of those rooms additionally have a balcony.

Culinary

Start the day with a tasty Cappuccino and a creamy Cornetto alla Crema, enjoy a "Panini" with a Café Shakerato at noontime or - as a healthy snack - a mixed salad with a fresh fruit juice. Of course, all the delights are also available as a take-away option. The "Coffees to go" are the perfect companion throughout the day.
• “Ellermann's Hummerbar” - Seafood, oysters, lobster and sushi.
On the back of the Hotel St. Gotthard, the imposing red door points the way to Ellermann's lobster bar. The original decoration has been preserved to this day. In Ellermann's Hummerbar you immerse yourself in a world in which the continents meet and where service and cuisine are capitalized. From Japan to France to America you will taste variations of sushi, French cuisine and Maine lobster.
• “Piazzetta” - The biggest terrace right in the city centre of Zurich.
