If you and your family love horses, then this is the place to be, and something you won’t want to miss during your family holiday in the Loire Valley. And even if you are not so much into horses, Le Cadre Noir is such a prestigious place that a visit here becomes almost a must do.
Le Cadre Noir is France’s top horsemanship school, and ranks as one of the most prestigious ones in the world. For military purposes or leisure (some Olympic champions are from Le Cadre Noir), the art of horse training has been passed on from the day of the school’s creation in 1828. The riders are recognizable by their black uniforms, which gave the name to the school.
