HOTEL DANIELI STAZIO

The tour starting at the Station in front of the Hotel Danieli offers an exceptional gondola ride past some of the most suggestive scenes of Venice. From the departure point 50 m. from Piazza San Marco, past the Bacino in front of the square, and into some of the oldest canals of the city. Along Rio del Palazzo and under the Bridge of Sighs, the tour reaches Rio di Santa Maria Formosa and Rio di San Severo to return to our original Stazio.

TRAGHETTO DOGANA

The Dogana Gondola Station is located on the Grand Canal, just minutes away from Piazza San Marco, facing the world famous Harry's Bar. Beginning on the Grand Canal, you admire the Salute Church dedicated to commemorate the end of the Black Plague, pass by the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, and leave the Canal Grande to enter the calm minor canals. You will view the Fenice Opera House and Theatre, the home of Wolfgang Mozart, the magnificent Church of San Moisè and the gothic style Bauer Palace on the return.

TRAGHETTO SANTA MARIA DEL GIGLIO

From Santa Maria del Giglio, the tour heads towards the Accademia Bridge, to see Palazzo Barbaro then making a u-turn on the Canal Grande to pass by Palazzo Ca' Corner and d'Annunzio red "casetta". Entering the Rio di Santa Maria del Giglio to Piscina Fenice, where the theatre of the same name is located, the ride passes Rio di Verona and Rio dei Barcaroli past Mozart's home. Continuing along rio di San Moisè again to the Grand Canal in front of the Chiesa della Salute, the tour returns to its origin at Santa Maria del Giglio.

TRAGHETTO SAN TOMÀ

The tour departing from the Stazio of San Tomà allows us to explore the jewels of this area, beginning along the Rio di San Polo, with the numerous Palazzi and noble families' homes constructed in diverse architectural styles which varied over the centuries as Venice's influence reached ever further around the globe over the seas. Along the quiet inner canals, you are rocked gently, and are struck by the magic views and perspectives which only a gondola can provide from the water. Returning along the Grand Canal, you admire the typical Venetian Palaces in Gothic and Renaissance style as Palazzo Barbaro and the Palazzo Corner Spinelli, and the famous Palazzo Pisani Moretta, venue for events and elegant parties. The tour ends back to the original point.

Stazio Bacino Orseolo - San Beneto

The tour begins at Bacino Orseolo just behind Saint Mark's Square, following smaller but unbelievably beautiful secondary canals such as Rio dei Barcaioli where the home where Mozart lived is located, and Rio dell'Ovo to reach the Grand Canal. From here, to your right you will enjoy the spectacular view of the Rialto Bridge from the water, and to your left imposing palazzi such as Ca' Farsetti, seat of the municipal government, and Palazzo Grimani, the largest building overlooking the Grand Canal and which now hosts the Court of Appeals. The tour continues down Rio San Luca where it passes Palazzo Manin, residence of the last doge of Venice, Ludovico Manin, and today the Bank of Italy's Regional headquarters building, before returning to end again at Bacino Orseolo.

Traghetto Santa Sofia

The tour begins at the Santa Sofia traghetto, on the Grand Canal near the fascinating Ca' d'Oro, built in a florid Gothic style, facing the Rialto markets. Gliding softly along the Grand Canal, it enters the smaller canals via Rio delle Poste, to lull you sweetly to bliss as only the gondola can manage, exploring the hidden and unique beauties that are Venice. Along the way it will be possible to admire the home of Marco Polo, the precious tiny jewel of Saint Mary of the Miracles, the Widman Palace and the 14th century church of the Holy Apostles, before returning to the Grand Canal and your starting dock near the Church of Saint Sophia along the Strada Nova.

Stazio Train Station - Piazzale Roma

The Traghetto Stazio proposes a selection of hidden pearls and monumental beauties from the water, as they were constructed to be viewed. Starting from Piazzale Roma, the tour passes historical and cultural treasures such as Torres House, Palazzo Gaffaro, the Tolentini and Carmini Churches, Palazzo Zenobio, and many other views and perspectives only the gondoliers are able to show, before returning once again to Piazzale Roma.
