About the Clinique Générale-Beaulieu

Clinique Générale-Beaulieu is a leading private hospital in Geneva specialized in surgery, medicine and maternity. • Multi-disciplinary in its approach, the clinic counts more than 450 staff and nearly 600 licensed physicians. A total of 134 beds are available.
• The facilities include six nursing units, seven operating theatres, one reanimation center, as well as six specialty centres of international reputation:
  • The Institute of Radiology;
  • The Institute of Nuclear Medicine;
  • The Robot-Assisted Laparoscopic Surgery Center;

• The Institute of Radiology has seven radiologists working with the latest magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan for investigating the central nervous (brain and spinal cord), digestive, urinary and osteo-articular systems.
• Institute of Nuclear Medicine has its own team and was proud to own the first positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) scanner in Switzerland. This state-of-the-art isotopical imaging technique is considered as the most sensitive method available in modern oncology.
• The Robot-Assisted Laparoscopic Surgery Centre, opened in 2003, is equipped with the latest version of the HD four arm robot ((Da Vinci R SI HD) and a 3D projection room. To date more than 1,200 operations have been performed in urology, gastrointestinal surgery and gynaecology.
• The ART center, which is managed in partnership with Unilabs laboratories and a team of gynecologists specialised in reproductive medicine, a urologist and a biologist, was inaugurated in 2005.
• The Maternity Unit has three delivery rooms, a nursery and one neonatal unit.
• The Physiotherapy and Functional Rehabilitation Center is run by team of dedicated physiotherapists and counts a unit devoted to sports medicine.
• The operating room performs an average of 7500 operations a year, backed-up by the latest equipment, notably in the new integrated theatres.
• More than 60 medical practices established in the neighbourhood and covering all specialties collaborate with the clinic. Over 6000 patients with an average stay of 5 days were treated in 2011. The Maternity Unit saw the birth of 701 babies the same year. Our Institutes of radiology and nuclear medicine have perforned more than 30,000 examinations.
