Founded in 1903, Collège Champittet is a well established private school in the Lake Geneva area. Its magnificent campus welcomes primary and secondary students and has a boarding school as well. The school has been running summer camps for over 20 years.

BOARDING SCHOOL

Champittet boarding school in Switzerland is home to an international community of 90 boarding students, aged 11 to 18. Some of the boarders stay seven days a week, and some stay from Monday to Friday. Located in Pully, near Lausanne city centre and Lake Geneva, this private boarding school offers excellent amenities in secure and friendly surroundings.
Its staff is dedicated to providing individual care to each of the boarding students, so they feel at home away from home. With peers from around the world, including both native and non-native French speakers, all boarding students live and learn in a dynamic, supportive environment that nurtures their educational success and personal wellbeing.

HOUSING
Secure and friendly, the Champittet boarding house near Lausanne, Switzerland is a home away from home for your child.
Champittet provides all the top amenities you would expect of a Swiss boarding school – but the individual care the boarding house offers each child is what sets it apart.
The boarding house is divided into four residential floors, with boys and girls on separate floors. Each floor has a shared living room, where students can enjoy each other’s company, play games or watch movies. Resident staff live on each of these floors as well, so support is always within easy reach.
All students have a comfortable bed and desk space, and some bedrooms have views of Lake Geneva. 90% of the boarders share a room with another student. Care is taken to pair roommates of different nationalities in order to enhance the benefit of their international education.
Within the school grounds, students have access to excellent sporting facilities, including outdoor pitches, tennis courts, a running track and a gym. The Pully campus also has a chapel. While formal services follow the Catholic faith, students of any faith are welcome to use the chapel for their own contemplations.

DAILY LIFE
Daily life at Collège Champittet’s boarding school in Switzerland offers a perfect blend of variety and routine in a safe environment. The structured schedule enables boarding students to focus on their learning and wellbeing, while the location near Lake Geneva and the centre of Lausanne allows them to experience a rich assortment of activities outside of their daily schedule.
After classes have ended for the day, boarding school students have assigned study periods in the evening, with access to tutors for individual support and guidance. Beyond the classroom, the boarding students are encouraged to pursue personal interests, hobbies and extracurricular activities with their fellow classmates. In this way, Champittet helps students establish a healthy and sustainable balance between work and play.

WEEKEND ACTIVITES
Approximately half of the boarding school students stay with Champittet for the weekend. Different extracurricular activities are organised every Saturday and Sunday. Middle school students participate in both activities, whereas high school students may choose to participate in both or just one activity.
Weekend activities vary significantly from week to week and according to the time of year.
Examples include:
• Water sports on Lake Geneva (sailing, paddleboarding, water-skiing)

In the beautiful and safe environment of the Swiss Alps, students aged 11 to 17 are guided by a team of senior trainers and professional mountain guides. Families can choose between the day camp or the full residential programme for the perfect summer camp experience in Switzerland.
The Champittet Summer Leadership Camp is open to students from all over the world and based at the pristine Lausanne campus. Here, campers can develop confidence, teamwork and leadership skills in the spectacular setting of Lake Geneva and the Alps.
Organised together with the renowned Swiss Leadership Academy and taught in English, the summer camp in Switzerland invites students to learn more about themselves through guided challenges, excursions and outdoor adventures.
