GENERAL INFORMATION

Running international Junior and Teens Camp (JTC) has been a family affair for us since 1965.
JTC welcomes boys and girls aged 6 to 16. Its intensive program caters to the needs of all campers, whether they wish to concentrate on a particular sport or discover the full range of activities.
JTCcamp’s multicultural and multilingual environment creates the perfect holiday setting for your loved ones. They will return home having experienced a summer full of fun, friendship, new knowledge and skills, and fantastic discoveries.
JTC has 1 staff for 4 campers, ensuring a very high level of supervision and care. English, French, German and Spanish are available, for all levels. The foreign language program of JTCamp is a custom-built curriculum tailored to the needs of each class.
Classes are formed following a placement test and consist of small groups of a maximum of 8 students.

Physical activity and the promotion of health is a key focus of camp's efforts. Junior and Teen Camp both encourages campers and informs them how to lead a healthy lifestyle:
  • eat well: healthy food such as vegetables, fruits, water and balanced meals;
  • get active: the tailored made program is adapted to work for all campers;
  • feel good: benefiting from a safe and serene environment, which includes no mobile phones or other portables devices;
  • being responsible: the bioimpedance analysis informs children and adolescents about their progress (the reports are printed and given to the campers).
JTC's flexible program, which highlights health, nutrition, food, safety, and hygiene, empowers children to achieve the required physical and health literacy, to adopt a healthy lifestyle from an early age, and to make informed choices for life.
When campers check in on arrival day, they will be asked to select all the activities they are interested in and will indicate their approximate levels. With this information, JTC will, create a personal program.
JTCamp is proud to offer double rooms for all of the guests (triples may be available upon request), each with private shower and toilets. Fresh towels are always provided and housekeeping is performed on a daily basis. Twice-weekly laundry service is also included.

LOCATION

Flims-Laax, a picturesque Swiss Mountain Village, is a summer paradise of green mountain pastures, glacierfed rivers, and pristine lakes. The Caumasee, the largest lake in the area, is sourced from natural warm water springs and features islands and beautiful turquoise water. The Laaxersee also offers great swimming with countless aquatic activities such as canoeing, water trampoline and paddling.
Located at an ideal 1000 meters, the average temperature in summer is around a very comfortable 22 Degres Celcius. The safety and security are of very high standards, as the road in front and around our building is private.
