La Pyramide in the town of Vienne, south of Lyon between Paris and the Riviera, has been a member of the prestigious Relais & Châteaux family of hotels since 1999.

Gastronomy

The restaurant was once owned by renowned chef Fernand Point, mentor of so many great names in French cuisine, and the first to be awarded three Michelin stars in 1933.
Today, Patrick Henriroux, assisted by two chefs who are also past winners of the Best Workers of France award, continues to work hard to bring guests the best dining experience in an extremely elegant and stylishly designed restaurant.

The hotel grounds are also home to a gourmet restaurant and conference rooms. The Espace PH3 restaurant has been welcoming guests for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, in a contemporary and convivial setting, since the 9th March 2009.
After 20 years at La Pyramide, Pascale and Patrick Henriroux decided to add a modern venue that would express their personality.

They didn’t want a restaurant - they already create gastronomic cuisine; they didn’t want a bistro or a brasserie - they don’t like that description, and this is not the type of place for that style of food.
The Henriroux wanted a friendly setting with show cooking. That place is the PH3. And the name reflects the Henriroux’s imaginative idea of building it around the number 3:

The hotel’s second restaurant offers three starters, three main courses, three desserts, three white wines, three red wines, three champagnes and fruit juices...
But they also had the idea to lay out the Espace PH3 around a kitchen island where wok and plancha take centre stage.

The menu by Chef Patrick Henriroux is a delightful triumph of fine and inventive cuisine, which he describes as instinctive.
