Arrival
Within 5 minutes from Lucerne Station by car (hotel parking) or by bus 6, 8 or 24 (bus stop “Casino-Palace”). The shortest funicular railway in the world transports you in only 60 seconds from the hotel lobby directly to the lake promenade, the starting point for an idyllic stroll into the city centre. The Casino car park is 100m by foot from the bottom of the funicular railway. Parking tickets can be paid for at the hotel reception.

Gastronomy
Restaurant "Scala" (70 seats) with fireplace area (40 seats), terrace (80 seats). Cuisine - 15 GaultMillau points. Superb views, palm tree ambience and wonderful creations from the kitchen team led by Head Chef Johan Breedijk turn every visit into an experience. Besides the buffet breakfast or lunch, guests at the Montana can enjoy romantic candle light dinners – in the summer, midday and evening on the large sun terrace with its breathtaking view.

"Louis Bar" - named after the legendary jazz trumpeter Louis Armstrong, whose life-size wooden statue greets guests at the entrance to the bar. The range of over 130 single malt whiskeys on offer, including the largest selection of rare whiskeys, is unique in Switzerland.
In 2011, the Louis Bar won the Swiss Bar Award for the best long-standing bar in Switzerland and was also named “Switzerland's Best Whisky Bar 2012” by the Swiss Whisky Guide.

The Hemingway Rum Lounge takes its guests back in time to Ernest Hemingway’s days. With more than 60 sorts of rum from Central and South America, it offers the largest variety of rums in Switzerland. Exquisite cigarettes can also be purchased here. Thanks to its sophisticated ventilation system, the Hemingway Rum Lounge is also a comfortable smoker’s lounge.
